Triclosan-free
Studies have shown that Triclosan's effectiveness and safety as an antibacterial agent is flawed. The FDA has banned its use in household soap, and it’s under review by other regulatory bodies. Our products don’t contain any Triclosan.
Benzalkonium Chloride
One of our active ingredients, having an excellent safety profile, and with excellent effectiveness against a broad range of microorganisms. A key element of BASE Technology®.
Aloe Vera
Also known as Aloe Barbadensis, this is a plant whose extract is well known for its beneficial effects on the skin. A key element of BASE Technology®.
Surfactants
These are ingredients that bind with different types of liquids and/or gases that would otherwise be non-mixable. They are a key element of BASE Technology®.
Emollients
Moisturising ingredients that soothe and hydrate the skin. A key element of BASE Technology®.

Antimicrobial
Having the ability to kill microorganisms, which can include bacteria, viruses, fungi and yeasts. Our hand sanitiser is antimicrobial.
EN 1276
A standard test for effectiveness against a range of bacteria. Our hand sanitiser passes this.
EN 14476
A standard test for effectiveness against viruses. Our hand sanitiser passes this.
prEN 12054
A standard test for effectiveness against a range of bacteria. Our hand sanitiser passes this.
EN 13704
A standard test for effectiveness against bacterial spores. Our hand sanitiser passes this.
EN 1500
A standard hand sanitiser test using human subjects. It has to perform at least as well as a standard alcohol benchmark. Our hand sanitiser passes this.
PAS 2424
A standard test for residual activity, which is when antimicrobial activity continues after a product has dried. Our hand sanitiser has passed a modified version of this.
